Community Session: Uncloseting Youth (Talk)

We’ve opened up the discussion to the organisations within our community who’d like to have their thoughts heard:
 
The Gay & Lesbian Rights Lobby (GLRL) would like to invite young people (aged 18-25) to participate in a workshop on youth activism.
 
As part of the Mardi Gras Queer Thinking forum, this workshop is designed to engage young gay and lesbian individuals with the GLRL and our campaigns on civil marriage, adoption, surrogacy and federal anti-discrimination provisions.
 
The event will run as a facilitated discussion on the work of the GLRL, how it campaigns, and most importantly how our campaigns engage with young people. We want to hear your thoughts on our campaign priorities.
 
Participants will be encouraged to comment on what makes a good campaign; what they would like to see the GLRL work on; and the kinds of activities they would like to see the GLRL develop?
 
While the event is free to attend, due to limited spaces, please RSVP to Sen Raj (GLRL Policy and Development Coordinator) at queerthinking@glrl.org.au.
