Franklin Scia is a marketing whiz by day and an incredible DJ by night. Originally hailing from France, he brings a unique flair to the Sydney scene. With his eclectic mix of trance, techno, and tribal house, he’s always creating a vibey atmosphere that keeps the dance floor alive.

Do you remember your first Mardi Gras experience?

"My first memory of Mardi Gras is when Dua Lipa was playing in 2020. It was really hot at the afterparty, and it also happened to be the same day as the release of Stupid Love by Lady Gaga. It was absolutely amazing to hear the song playing in such a big space and everyone singing along!"

What is your favourite Mardi Gras memory?

"I’d have to say 2022, when I marched in the Parade at the stadium with all my friends for TEAMM8. It was such a fantastic experience!"

What event are you looking forward to in 2025?

"The after party is always amazing! There really is nothing like it, and it’s the kind of music I love."

"To me, it means being free to be myself and musically creative. That’s something that’s really important to me."
