Uppers
How far can we push the limits of the human form before it transcends itself? ‘Uppers’ presents a body of new hyperreal oil paintings and sculpture from Victoria Todorov, curated by Sarah Hibbs, exploring themes of pro-plastic aesthetics, productivity pharmaceuticals, and performative beauty standards.
Todorov’s assembly of camp references and garish displays of wealth and consumption exposes contemporary economic labour and class systems at work.
Launching on Friday 14 February at 6pm alongside exhibitions by Hal Witney and Ariel Ruby, this free exhibition will run until 9 March.
