Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras have teamed up with ABC Magazines to produce a beautiful book-style magazine to celebrate 40 years of evolution.
On sale nationally on February 8th, you can pre-order your copy now to make sure you don’t miss the incredible stories and images from 40 years of Mardi Gras, and $2 from every copy sold is donated back to the community via the SGLMG Grants Scheme.
The magazine is edited and curated by writer, producer and performer Maeve Marsden (pictured) who curates LGBTQIA storytelling project, Queerstories and has been published in Sydney Morning Herald, The Guardian, Junkee, SBS Online, Daily Review and Gay News Network.
Features in the magazine will include must-read stories by and about LGBTQI icons including Benjamin Law, David Marr, Julie McCrossin, Sally Rugg, Ian Roberts, Matthew Mitcham, Ellen Van Neerven, Simon Hunt (Pauline Pantsdown) and more.
